The abstract should not exceed 350 words. Please do not send multiple submissions of the same abstracts. Authors will receive automatic acknowledgement of receipt of abstracts. Abstract acceptance and program scheduling will be announced to the e-mail address you entered.
Abstract submitted via the website may be edited on-line until Feb 24th, 2012. Any corrections to be made to your abstract will be your own responsibility. If you find correction via the website to be impossible, please contact the Secretariat and provide your abstract ID number, which will be issued after the submission of your abstract, as well as the name of the first author of your abstract.
The Presenting Author (same family name and given name as on the abstract ) must have fully registered and paid the registration fee for Cholesteatoma 2012 in order to have the accepted presentation in the final program and abstract book .
Presentation is to be made either by oral or poster presentation. At the time your abstract submission, you may choose which type of presentation you would like to make; however the final selection is left to the local organizing committee.

The 9th International Conference on Cholesteatoma and Ear Surgery is awarding 2 prizes on behalf of Politzer Society and Japan Otological Society. One is "Politzer Prize", and the other is "Japan Otological Society Prize".
The awards will be 100,000 Japanese Yen each to the 2 scientific papers. The candidate must be under 40 years old. The candidate must submit the paper via the official website under the category of Politzer Prize and Japan Otological Society Prize. The work described in the paper must be original and must not have been presented or published before the meeting. Among the submission made for the prizes the Juries will select each 6 study for the prizes. The finalists will be required to send a copy of identification to the secretariat via e-mail (chole2012@c-lincage.co.jp). The finalists will present their studies for 10 minutes at the final round for Politzer Prize (Polizer Prize Session) or Japan Otological Society Prize (JOS session) scheduled to June 6th 2012. Following the sessions the Jury will decide for the winners. Each winner will be announced and awarded with a certificate signed by the Jury during the Banquet on 6th June 2012.
